The role will include leading our design initiatives all the way through production. You will be responsible for the entire product design process including market research, mood board creation, designing, sketching, sourcing, prototyping and tech packs. You will also be responsible for all aspects relating to technical design and production. As we grow, you will also have the opportunity to style photo shoots and work with our marketing and creative direction teams to execute the brand vision. You'll develop new products and collections with the aim to create brand cohesiveness and serve a large, overlooked market.
Our ideal candidate is highly creative and analytical, and is a strong, charismatic leader that can bring our dream activewear wardrobe to life. You have at least 5 years of design experience, are proficient in Illustrator, Photo Shop, and Microsoft Office. You have the ability to set a creative tone and to inspire ideas and new concepts while visualizing how to build out several collections for a new market. You have an in-depth knowledge of silhouettes, fabrics, color ways, sewing techniques and trims. You have a strong background all aspects of women’s activewear and accessory design, technical design, costing and supply chain management. You love working in teams and you excel in creating unique products that solve wardrobe challenges for our target market. You are a hard-worker and you work well in a fast-pace start-up environment. You are a problem-solver by nature, and have the ability to build processes and manage a growing team. You are excited to work in an all-hands-on-deck start-up environment and do what it takes to build a financially sustainable business.

We value building a community of women who have been overlooked by the apparel markets, and designing activewear products for them. We are looking for a passionate individual is driven to help us bring inclusive activewear to the womenswear market.
This role is ideal for someone interested in being deeply involved in the conceptualization and development of a brand from the early stages. You will be working very closely with the Founder & CEO, Arshiya Kherani, throughout the transition period, but the ultimate goal is for you to be able to run with our design processes.
